As promised, every year one person from each of the local high school, (Piscataway and South Plainfield) will be chosen to receive the Brian McAndrews Scholarship. This scholarship is specifically for a young adult to attend a trade school and pursue their dream as a blue collar worker, which was Brian’s passion. All of the entries, were truly impressive and making a selection was most difficult. I am happy to announce that each of the two winners received $2,000 to help them pay their trade school tuition.
